Ruth Gibson is a British actress. In 2014, she played the role of Sonia in the mini-series ‘Babylon’ (Channel 4), and Reenie in ‘Call The Midwife’ (BBC One). She starred in the third-person shooter video game ‘James Bond 007: Blood Stone’ in 2010 and ‘The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings’ in 2011. Stage credits include the musical ‘Blood Brothers’ (West End) and ‘The Kitchen’ (Royal National Theatre). She has worked extensively with Alan Ayckbourn including being part of the original cast in ‘Life and Beth’ and ‘My Wonderful Day’, the latter being nominated for a Drama Desk Award. In 2010, she won ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ in the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards for her role as Sidney in ‘Independent Means’.
