About the Experience:

The Gunpowder Plot Immersive Experience transports your students back in time to 17th century Jacobean London. Through movie quality sets, period costumes, and amazing actors, layered with the latest technology including Virtual Reality, projection mapping and motion simulators, your students will discover a world where spies and informants hide in every shadow.

Key Highlights:

  • Interactive Storytelling: Our immersive experience goes beyond textbooks and lectures, allowing students to actively participate in the unfolding events of the Gunpowder Plot. They'll engage with historical figures, witness secret meetings, and even play a part in thwarting the plot.
  • The Gunpowder Plot was created in partnership with Historic Royal Palaces whom we worked with closely to display historical accuracy. Every detail, from costumes to set designs, is thoroughly researched to ensure an authentic and enriching experience. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the period's customs, politics, and society.
  • Curriculum-Aligned: Our immersive experience will complement your school's curriculum. It brings history to life in a way that resonates with students, fostering a genuine interest in the past and encouraging further exploration.
  • Critical Thinking: As students navigate the complex web of political and religious motivations behind the Gunpowder Plot, they'll develop critical thinking skills by analysing the motives of different characters and understanding the broader implications of historical events.
  • Memorable Learning: The immersive nature of the experience ensures that students remember key historical facts and concepts for years to come. The emotional engagement and sensory elements create a lasting impact on their understanding of history.
